Why I work online and what I want to accomplish A few years ago I opted out of corporate life which had ruled me for twenty odd years and moved with my partner to a 15 acre bush property about an hour drive from the city. Working online has meant I can earn an income from home while enjoying our peaceful rural surrounds and also keep abreast of technology which has always been a major part of my life. My online accomplishment will have reached an acceptable stage when I am generating a predictable and adequate income with minimal effort on my part. What I do online My online activities fall into two broad categories. Firstly I look for interesting niches or products and build entertaining and informative web sites around them, deriving reward for effort through affiliate income. Secondly, I create or improve the web presence for friends and colleagues who have small businesses but not the means nor knowledge to promote them online.
